Have you been wrestling with your next ministry role in the Church?  Is it possible that God calling you to be a church planter, campus pastors or start a missional community?  Is your church dreaming of going multisite or daughtering a church?

Discovery Day is designed to help you explore a potential calling to be a church multiplier and provide an overview of church multiplication.  We will wrestle with questions like what is church multiplication?  Am I called and wired to be a church planter?  The goal of Discovery Day is to help pastors and church leaders gain greater clarity on what it could mean for them or their church to multiply.

Join regional leaders and pastors from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana for a day of discovery on Tuesday, September 19th.

About the SPEAKERS:

Planck, Tom

TOM PLANCK  Tom serves as the Healthy Church Catalyst with Healthy Growing Churches, a grassroots network of pastors and churches passionate about healthy leaders, healthy churches, and church multiplication. He uses his leadership gifts to help church leaders-on the local, regional and national level-create a multiplication culture within their organization. Tom has coached dozens of pastors and church planters in the past ten years. Tom’s first twenty-two years of ministry were invested as a local church pastor where he and his family planted two churches and helped two merge. Tom is married to his beautiful wife, Andrea, and has two nearly-grown children (Tytus and Hannah).

Wiens, Greg

GREG WIENS  Greg has been assessing leaders and organizations for over 35 years. He has worked with organizations that range in size and interest from Fortune 100 companies and public schools, to small non-profits and churches. His forte is leadership and his passion is to see the Kingdom expanded through helping leaders understand their unique wiring and their A-Game. He has pastored and planted churches as well as founded a number of organizations. He currently leads two missionally focused organizations: Healthy Growing Churches and Healthy Growing Leaders. In addition, Greg has developed 15 different assessments in a variety of fields.

Phillips, Dave

DAVE PHILLIPS  Dave likes to think of himself as a behind-the-scenes kinda guy, more like Barnabus than Paul. His has served the church as a Connections Pastor, Youth Director, Middle School Pastor, Worship Leader and many years as an Elder on several church boards. The Air Force gave Dave and his family the opportunity to move frequently and see many different types of churches in a variety of contexts. Given the choice, Dave would rather be doing what he thinks Jesus wants us to do as his disciples or writing music and playing guitar than developing software and assessment instrument, but we all have to pay the bills somehow! He’s been married about 30 years to Zoë Hale and together they have four adult daughters. Dave & Zoë are both retired Air Force officers and live in Anderson, South Carolina.
