Who is this for?

The General Assembly is an annual meeting of  Ohio Church of God Ministers and appointed lay leaders. The purpose is to conduct the business of State Ministries, ordain new ministers, and equip church leaders for ministry.

  • Did you know that the first command and promise that God gives in the Bible is, “be fruitful and multiply”?
  • Did you know that the Bible picks up this theme from Genesis to Revelation?
  • Did you know that God still expects and equips His People to “be fruitful and multiply”?
At the Ohio General Assembly this year we are exploring this biblical mandate to multiply. In a TED talk format we’re focusing on Multiplying our Resources; Multiplying our Leader Base; and Multiplying Disciples for Jesus.
Register now for this great day! Put link here and other places that make sense Let’s keep the cost the same as last year

Speaker|Rev. Steve Southards

Lead Pastor at Salem Church of God, Clayton OH

Growing up in a Christ centered home, I felt a call into ministry while in high school.  After meeting the love of my life in college, Erin and I have been on a journey of discovering God’s gifting and passion in our lives, specifically as it relates to the local church and reaching those far from God.  Erin and I are passionate about helping people take their next step with Jesus and it starts with our 4 kids: Payton, Colton, Presley and Stetson.  In between wrestling matches with the kids, I enjoys hunting, time on the water, and smoking meat.
