Disaster Relief Team 2016 Report:

Disaster Relief Trip

Thank you for your continuing interest and growing support to the work of the Disaster Relief Team (DRT) through Ohio Ministries. Since we last met there have been teams from Ohio go to Detroit, Michigan, plus Richwood and White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. (Special acknowledgement goes to a group of men from the Ravenna Church of God who were able to go to WV shortly after the flood.) There is still work that needs to be done in each of the three areas mentioned above. Please go to www.ohchog.org to learn more about your RT.

Detroit, MI– December—2015

With this report we are introducing the possibilities of having shorter work camps (3 days) when the work site is in a fairly short driving distance, with a small group of volunteers (4 or 5 individuals) from your congregation. Our D.R. Team will provide leadership and work with scheduling that best serves the volunteers.

Work camps can be scheduled for Monday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday. Team member Jim Kyle (330-240-4579 or carjk7@aol.coom) is our project leader for this service opportunity.
